Follow these steps to get the tracker online:
- Charge Up: Ensure your tracking device is fully charged.
- Power On: Turn on your tracking device using the power button located on the top of the device.
- Download the GEGO App from the Apple Store or Google Play
- Connect: If not immediately connected to our GPS satellite network, walk or drive around outside for 5 to 10 minutes.
Have in mind that the device needs an active service plan to report its location.
Charge your GEGO GPS
Plug in the wall charger, then connect the charger to GEGO GPS.
Power led will flash red while charging and will turn solid when fully charged.
Charge for at least 8 hours or until the power led turns solid.
Disconnect from charger. Power led will go out.
Note: If you were to use our GEGO GPS in your car, we recommend that you keep it always plugged in with the cable, and this way, you won't have to worry about charging it. The battery doesn't deplete since it's always in full use.
Create an account and Login
Download GEGO App from the Apple App or Google Play Store, install and launch. Tap the register button to Sign up, fill in your Email Address and Password to create an account.
Adding a GEGO
After creating your account, the GEGO App will scan the GEGO Device IMEI number to associate it with your account. If this is your second device and you are already seeing the main screen, tap Add a new GEGO to initiate the scan process.
You'll then receive a confirmation that you've successfully added your GEGO!
You can also select to add the device manually to your account, by typing the device IMEI Number.
Note: Locate the IMEI number on the back of the device. The number is 15 characters long.
Personalize your GEGO
Give your GEGO a name or number to easily remember what it is attached to! You can also take a picture of the item you will be located, to make it easier to identify it on the map, especially when you have more than one GEGO Device.
Activate your GEGO Service Plan
In order to locate your items anywhere in the world, your GEGO requires a Subscription that allows for global connectivity and offers a flat rate no matter how much or in which country you use your GEGO. Select which kind of Service Plan you prefer: 30 days or 1 year. The app will ask for your credit card. You can cancel your Service Plan at any time, and no charges will be applied to your card.
Remember that the service plan renews automatically.
Locating your GEGO
After adding the device to your account, the main screen will show a map, indicating the location of your GEGO device. To see more details of the device, simply tap on its name in the list below the map. In the details view, you will see your GEGO battery level and Service Plan status.
